The Institute for Automotive Engineering (ika) researches the entire vehicle, including its systems and their interactions. From the idea to innovative component and system concepts to vehicle prototypes, the institute's employees design diverse solutions for the mobility of tomorrow. To this end, the ika works together in public and bilateral projects with and for automotive related manufacturers and suppliers to ensure that mobility remains safe, efficient, and attractive in the future.
The Institute for Power Electronics and Electrical Drives (ISEA) has been active in the research topics of power electronics, power electronic components, electrical drives, and electrochemical energy storage systems for more than 55 years. With over 100 scientific employees, ISEA is Germany's largest university research institute with outstanding experience in the field of essential electric drive components for electromobility.
The Chair of Production Engineering of E-Mobility Components (PEM) has a wealth of experience in all issues related to electrified mobility and supports companies in the successful transition to electromobility. Through national and international projects with industry partners at various stages of the value chain as well as participation in various research projects, PEM offers extensive expertise along the entire electric drive train in the fields of batteries, fuel cells and electric motors.
Participation Requirements & Target Group
The Battery Elecrtrified Vehicle is aimed at engineers and technicians as well as specialists and managers from the automotive and supplier industry. Following areas are of particular interest:
