Welcome M.Sc. AHI 2024!

Last week we welcomed the first batch of our brand new Master's Degree Program Applied Health Informatics & Digital Medicine (AHI) in Aachen. With this part-time program, we are training physicians and computer scientists to become experts in the field of medical informatics.

During our first attendance week, our students received exactly the introduction they needed. While the physicians of the group received an introduction to computer science, our computer scientists were taught medical terminology and physiology.

The whole group came together for the "Propedeutics of Health Informatics & Digital Transformation" course, where important foundations were set for the entire master's program. In the coming semesters, our students will learn how to collect and analyze medical data and make it usable for the healthcare system.

We are very excited to start this new program with such a talented group and look forward to the next two years together!
